Framlingham Bed and Breakfast – July Update

It has been another busy month for New Street Bed and Breakfast in Framlingham.

A cosmopolitan array of guests from all over the world have been staying in the self contained annexe at New street and partaking of the generous and sumptuous English breakfasts served in the charming main house dining room.
Let me tell you about some of the interesting and delightful people I got to meet this month while running my b and b business in New Street.

A young French Canadian backpacker, Aurelie, who having completed an English language course in London, found Framlingham and New Street Bed and Breakfast on the internet and decided to come and stay for a few days. She was delighted with the comfortable bed and the peace and quiet the annexe had to offer after the noise and bustle of London.

After a tour of the town and the castle, she was happy to just relax and read her book on the swing seat in the front garden and admire the view.
After three days of uninterrupted sleep and delicious breakfasts, I made sure she got on the bus at the top of the lane to begin the next stage of her holiday.

A brother and sister from Los Angeles who were researching their family tree enjoyed their stay at New Street B and B and even offered to reciprocate if my husband and I were ever in L.A.!

A delightful couple from Perth, Australia decided to come and stay at New Street Bed and Breakfast after admiring the pictures of the house on the website.
They ordered a large array of food from the New Street breakfast menu, but struggled to finish all of the prunes, grapefruit, porridge, full English and toast. I was worried that the food was not to their liking, but on the contrary was advised that other b and b’s portions had not been so plentiful!

Soon, I am looking forward to seeing some regular guests at New Street Bed and Breakfast in Framlingham. English Heritage often stage historical re-enactments at Framlingham Castle and the actors enjoy the peace and quiet here after entertaining the many children attending.
So many returning guests become friends and it is so enjoyable to sit with them with a relaxing drink in the garden.

So another busy season for all Bed and Breakfasts in Framlingham as tourists flock to this beautiful part of the country.
